This is a render that kind of fell into my lap while I was messing around in Terragen for the first time in way too many months (great way to make it look like you're doing something heavilly creative... play with Terragen for 40 minutes, get some fun pics ).

Anyways, I was poking around, trying to find some fun camera angles, and seeing how much fun I could have with low-light sunset/sunrise shots when I chanced across this little island on the edge of the terrain. I rendered it, and immediately thought it looked a good deal like Myst Island (from Myst... it's a computer game, go play it), so I did a little bit of tweaking on the mountain's backside, and churned this shot out. It's kinda weird, though, that the terrain doesn't look anything like Myst from the top-down perspective of the height-map editor, but it's a pretty dead ringer for the place from the side (minus the Clocktower Island, of course).
